JACK MAC VEHICLE BUILDS, A slideshow SAMPLING...

Originally a Tennessee car, and likely a moonshine runner, this Classic '57 Chevy Belair 2dr sedan had bullet holes down the driver's door and buckshot on the right front fender - all under 5 layers of paint and prior bad body work. Resto shop took it all down to metal, fab'd new metal, restored the original stainless steel trim, completed the interior, had the driveline improved and a complete colour change performed. After reassembly, this wicked '57 trifive is  now Rock'n n Roll'n down Main

    Body Work

    Single Stage, or Base Clear?

Body and rust repair are dying arts these days as body shops typically remove a panel and replace it with a factory knock off and simply repaint it. Paint colour matching has advanced well, but when you have a classic vehicle with a minor rust spot or blemish, you want to maintain originality as much as possible. This is where Resto Shop shines.

Is your paint fading or cracking? Has it lost its luster? Is your vehicle older than 1985 and the paint type is unknown? We have answers for these questions, whether you have single stage  acrylic / enamel or lacquer, or base clear, or a pearl tri-coat. We will detail options for you to restore your vehicle's shine and restore its value.

Sometimes challenging tasks require creative solutions. We all know that occasionally Classic cars, trucks, bikes and more require parts that are not easily obtainable - in fact, some off-the-shelf parts are just not available anymore. You may stumble across some New Old Stock (NOS), but many times you need to lean on fabrication skills, craftsmanship and ingenuity to complete a build - Resto Shop thrives in these situations.
